Connecticut repossession service

Connecticut does not have a right to cure requirement to perform a repo. This means that the lender does not have to notify the debtor that they intend to repossess the vehicle. Repo agents are required to notify local law enforcement (police or Sheriff) once a vehicle has been repossessed. Connecticut does not require repo agents to hold a specific repossessor license. Federal law, the Uniform Commercial code does require that there is no breach of the peace when performing the repossession. Federal law also requires that the lender provide the debtor notice that the vehicle was repossessed and that the lender intends to sell the vehicle at auction. The notification must also advise the debtor that they have 15 days to stop this process and get the vehicle back if they pay the lender a certain amount of money. The amount the lien holder requires can vary. The lien holder can demand the debtor completely pay off the loan plus repossession costs in order to get the vehicle back. The lien holder can also demand a reduced amount if they feel the debtor will continue to make the monthly payments once they have paid the past due amount.

Connecticut has more boats per capita than many other states consequentially we perform more boat recoveries in Connecticut than many other states. As a result, Speedy Repo employees have become very experienced at recovering all types of watercraft, boats, vessels and ships. We have standard boat trailers and hydraulic trailers capable of transporting any boat that can legally be moved on the roads due to size restrictions. If the vessel or ship is to large to move by land, we have Coast Guard licensed ship captains that can move anything by sea. We also have well established relationships with marinas that have secure storage. Most of our secure in water impounds are protected by the harbor master, gated, guarded, covered by video cameras and most importantly insured.
