Order a North Dakota Repossession - Hold Harmless Agreement

The state of North Dakota does not require repossession companies to hold a license to repossess collateral in North Dakota. State law does warrant that anytime a repossession is performed that local law enforcement be notified by a phone call. This prevent the police from wasting their time taking a stolen report on a vehicle that was simply repossessed. Federal law mandates that any time a repossession takes place, the peace is not breached. Section 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) insists that anytime collateral is repossessed the lender is to notify their customer that they have repossessed the collateral. The notification must be made in writing and let the customer know that the Lien holder is planning on selling the collateral at auction. It must also inform the customer that they can avoid this if they pay off the loan within 15 days of this notification.

North Dakota repossession service

The Williston basin in North Dakota is the largest oil field in the United States. The boom in oil drilling and oil refining has resulted in a migration of roughnecks (oil rig operators) from Texas. Some of these workers decide that they have better things to spend their money on than paying for their vehicle. They mistakenly believe that their lender has little chance of finding them in North Dakota and an even smaller chance of gaining admittance to the oil fields to repossess their collateral. Speedy Repo proves them wrong every day of the week. Our extensive network of license plate readers in North Dakota locates them every time. On Friday night most of the roughnecks head to town, get a hotel room and proceed to the nearest bar. Our repo trucks are already there and waiting for them. Our license plate readers direct our drivers to the target vehicles. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. If one of your roughnecks has disappeared from Texas, please consider hiring Speedy Repo. We will locate and recover your collateral no matter where they ran off to.
